The O8 5GHz 23dBi 11ac Outdoor CPE is designed for PtP and PtMP solutions for private wireless ISP connectivity, CCTV surveillance and data transmission. It features a 23dBi vertical polarization directional antenna to provide an efficient way to receive and maintain stable connectivity over long distances of up to 20km. Adopting auto-bridging technology, two CPEs can be automatically connected to each other to facilitate setup.

O8 adopts 6000V ethernet port surge protection design, it can be more robust in thunder season.
Easy to assemble and install
O8 adopts three-axis alignment, easily assembled in seconds – no tools required. Only a single screwdriver is required for pole mounting.
Proprietary TD-MAX-Tenda TDMA protocol
TD-MAX is a proprietary Tenda TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) protocol to improve performance and capacity for WISP wireless outdoor application scenarios. In the outdoor environment, the CPE uses highly directional antennas to connect to the Basestation from distances that can span several kilometers. the CPE cannot perceive each other, they become "hidden nodes" and cannot coordinate access to the wireless channel. Thus the Basestation suffers frequent collisions from stations transmitting at the same time. As the network scales, these collisions accumulate exponentially, increasing latency and reducing throughput. With TD-MAX, it coordinates all data transmission and allocates time to active clients to provide greater noise performance compared to the conventional 802.11 CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Avoidance) protocol.
Change the channel to avoid interference
The O8 provides the Channel Shift function to compensate for the upper center frequency of 5 MHz. It can avoid interference from nearby AP and provide higher performance.
CPE Assistant-Centralized Management Platform
O8 is equipped with centralized management software that helps users easily manage all devices in their network from one computer – CPE Assistant. Functions such as device discovery, status monitoring, firmware upgrade and network maintenance can be managed using CPE Assistant.
Multiple application scenarios
1. Long distance wireless connection
One works as an AP function and another works as a station function to establish a long-distance PtP wireless connection for private ISP wireless connectivity, CCTV surveillance and data transmission.
2. WISP mode (Client+Router).
Connect wirelessly to the WISP station/hotspot to share the Internet on a local wireless and wired network.
