Stylus with a rubber tip, in a metal case. The pen has exactly the same function as your finger on any touch screen. The rubber tip allows you to type more precisely than you can with your finger. A personal stylus means that, to sign a package at a scanning terminal for example, you avoid using your finger, thus avoiding potential contamination.
