Create shadows with a tilt of your hand
 
Two tilt sensors built into the tip of Apple Pencil calculate the precise orientation and angle of your hand.
 
As you write or draw, the Multi-Touch screen detects the relative positions of these two sensors.
 
This way you can create shadows by simply tilting the Apple Pencil, just like you would with charcoal or a conventional pencil.
