How does it work?
AirTag sends a secure signal over Bluetooth that can be detected by nearby devices on the Find My network. These devices send your AirTag’s location to iCloud, so you can go to the Find My app and find it on a map. The entire process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. You also don’t have to worry about battery life or data usage.
Thanks to Lost Mode you can find your things more easily
Just like other Apple devices, your AirTag can be put into Lost Mode. Then, when it's found by a device on your network, you'll automatically receive a notification. You can also set it up so that someone can get your contact information by scanning your AirTag with an NFC-enabled smartphone.
