The Pictar One Mark II was born to appeal to mobile photographers of all levels – from social documentarians to professionals – who want to get more out of their smartphone camera and lose that old feeling of the fixed grip and easy setup of a traditional camera. machine.
5 external buttons for unparalleled phone control
Unleash the power of your phone's camera with truly physical controls and make the most of your smartphone's powerful camera
Ergonomic non-slip handle
If you miss the secure and stable feel of a traditional camera grip, you'll love the grip you get with the Pictar, which lets you shoot with one hand and can also be attached to lights, tripods and lights LEDs.
Dedicated application with patented ultrasonic operation system
The Pictar app offers easy control over your iPhone camera, with unique features like manual focus, shutter priority, ISO priority, and more. It is wirelessly operated via an ultrasonic system for significant energy savings compared to existing Bluetooth systems.
Pictar offers five external control buttons:
Multi-mode shutter button – electronically calibrated for maximum sensitivity, just like a high-end camera. It offers a “half-press” function to lock focus and exposure for easy tracking of a moving subject or to create the desired composition, as well as “full-press” for instant shutter release.
Magnifier ring – located just below the pointer, making it easy for the user to activate it with just one hand. Rotating left or right activates zoom. It can also be programmed and changed by the user to meet specific needs.
Selfie button – clicking the zoom ring will switch between the phone's two cameras – front and back – for easy selfies. It can also be programmed and changed by the user to meet specific needs.
Exposure compensation wheel – controls the amount of light entering the camera, which helps the user determine the exact level of exposure without complex menus.
Smart Wheel – a programmable button that allows users to control various functions. In default mode, it changes the camera's 9 preset modes: auto, sports, macro and more. This is a very useful tool for the typical user. Advanced photographers can choose to program to control other functions such as manual, shutter priority and more.
Pictar App – a powerful, dedicated app
The Pictar app is a turbo engine that drives the Pictar One Mark II forward. To develop it, Miggo partnered with a leading app development company that not only gave the app ease of use but also new features not found in the iPhone camera, such as preset modes and more.
One of the most exciting components of the app is the functional interface powered by sound frequencies. When the user operates one of the external controls, it produces a sound frequency (18,500 – 20,000 kHz) that is inaudible to the human ear. When this frequency is detected by the application, it generates an appropriate action. This method greatly reduces battery drain on both the phone and the Pictar device.
Ergonomic body – for a comfortable grip just like a traditional camera and a strap to keep your precious phone from falling.
The Pictar One Mark II is inspired by classic cameras. It allows for a firm grip and direct access to all five external controls – all with just one hand.
The comfortable grip prevents the phone from slipping out of your hand and falling, greatly improves the sharpness of images and allows you to shoot with one hand – vertically or horizontally – and even take a picture with gloves.
The Pictar One Mark II has an attachment hook for a strap and comes with a designated wrist strap. It also comes with a padded carrying case with a metal carabiner for secure attachment to a bag or belt loop.
Aimed at advanced photographers, the bottom of the Pictar offers a standard ¼”20 connection for a tripod. At the top there is a "cold shoe" connection for external lighting.
